Beit Sefer Ivri (Hebrew School)

At Beit Sefer Ivri, our students share celebrations and life cycle events, have the opportunity to develop a personal connection to God, and discover the beauty of Judaism. Our program will focus on Hebrew reading and speaking, and Jewish holidays and values, all within the context of building community and Jewish pride. Each child’s connection to Judaism is fostered through engaging learning and exposure to Jewish role models. We are excited to be offering classes with Rabbi Rotenberg for all of our kids, as well as multiple field trips, and individual Hebrew tutoring (done virtually and scheduled at your convenience). We welcome children ages Kindergarten through B’nai Mitzvah to join us in-person on Wednesday afternoons, and virtually on the last Wednesday of each month. On Sundays, B’nai Zion and Mizpah join together to focus on Jewish values while learning in an engaging and fun atmosphere. Machanooga, combining Machane (camp) and Chattanooga, begins each week with Shirah, energetic Jewish songs, and Hebrew vocabulary. We end the day with Chugim (electives), active personal exploration of living the values learned. Click here to register!
